Ben finally had his last day of school. There was an awards assembly, games, and a bbq. He got quite a few awards this year; one for being on student council, one for excelling at gym, one for getting A's in math all year, another for reading all the "buckaroo" books(about 20), and also one for his reading points. We are so proud of him. He is excited to move on to 3rd grade and is happy he got the teacher he wanted!

Preschool Grad
Last night, Delaney had her preschool graduation. They sang songs and got to walk up and get a diploma. She was so proud of herself and we were proud too. In August she will be an official Kindergartner!!

6th Anniversary
Yesterday we celebrated our 6th anniversary. We borrowed our friends horses and went for a morning ride in the Peaks. The weather was beautiful. I didn't get too many pictures because I was on a young horse and she was pretty fresh. She wasn't too keen on standing still. We saw a herd of antelope, a large hawk, and even heard a rattlesnake. The horses didn't like that at all so we just kept moving. I couldn't think of a better way to spend the morning.

Hat Night by the fire
Grandma decided we were having Hat Night by the campfire. Everyone wore silly hats. The kids had so much fun (we did too). There are never any pictures of me because I am the only one who will take pictures, but I did have on a hat!

Sniper
Ben is getting better each time he gets his BB gun out. He is learning how it works and how to prpoerly handle it. This summer if I can find a course, he and I will take Hunter Safety. I think it is a good class and even though he is young, he will learn a lot. Just like any other boy, he loves to go out and shoot with his dad. Ben likes that he is interested in guns and is trying to teach him how to be a responsible gun owner. I love to see them spending time together.
