Halloween

This year the kids had lots of fun. Ben was an Army Sniper and Laney was a princess again. We didn't do much trick or treating, but we did go to a carnival in town. The kids played games and got lots of candy. They also had a good time carving pumpkins. Since they are still a little small to use the knives to carve their pumpkins, they drew the face that they wanted on the pumpkin and we cut it out for them. I think that they turned out great.

Best friends

Laney and her best friend Sami. They met last year, their brothers are friends as well. The girls go to school together this year. They love to play together and spend as much time as possible dressing up and putting on make-up. Such fun!

Zoo Montana

On the 14th, Laney and I went with Ben's class to the zoo. The kids had a great time. They learned about the rain forest and how people effect the animal habitat there. We walked around and saw eagles, a tiger, porcupine, red pandas, big horn sheep, otters, peacock, and a wolf. The zoo was small but beautiful. All the woodland paths made for a lovely walk. We can't wait until the next field trip!

First day of preschool

Laney was so excited for her first day of school. She woke up real early and ready to go. Her grandma Hot-Rod was here visiting and went with us for her first day. She absolutely loved it!

First day of school for Ben

Ben was so excited for his first day back to school. He is in the sacond grade now. He kept asking when we could leave, he got ready real fast. We got to his classroom and he met his new teacher, Mrs. Emery. Then he found his desk and got out all his supplies. I am pretty sure that he will have a great year!

fun day

Today we went to see dionsaur track and on an airplane tour. It was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed seeing the dinosaur tracks, they were about 175 million years old. Amazing they were still there for us to see. At the plane tour, we got to see quite a few planes up-close, inside and out. I think Ben enjoyed this just as much as the kids.
