Super Sonics

Ben had his first practice last night. He had a lot of fun. They named their team the Super Sonics and all seemed excited about it. I am not sure when the first game will be, but I will keep everyone updated.

Burrr...

Well, it is a little chilly at our house right now. We had one day where we got about 3 inches of snow. It looks so beautiful outside. Everything is sparkly and white. Now the freezing temperatures have set in... 20 below is pretty cold! I hope it warms up a little before I have to leave the house. Winter is finally really here.

Basketball

Last night was Ben's first practice. All 3rd and 4th grade boys who signed up will play together. They spent the hour getting numbered jerseys, running drills, and just having fun, all the while being looked over by a bunch of coaches. Next week, our college team, The Trappers, will participate in helping the boys run their drills and give them pointers. I think they are excited. Also next practice the coaches will pick their teams. So, I will be keeping everyone posted with photos and basketball happenings.

Christmas morning

It has taken a while for me to post....everyone had been sick and all at different times. We are all well now and enjoying the last bit of the holiday. Christmas was great. The kids recieved lots of books and games this year. They are enjoying all of them. Thanks to everyone who either sent a gift, card, or called. It was all wonderful and helped to make our Christmas special!
