Sheep

Ben finally got his market lamb. We went on Saturday to the Olsen farm to pick it out. She asked us if we were getting two, and when we looked puzzled, she explained how they eat competitively and will gain more weight. Since we had not planned on more than one, she sent us home with a small "bum" lamb on loan. We feed it and Ben will get to show this one also, then we give it back. He has been working well with them. We are trying to halter break them. I tell you, the little one is feisty! She jumps and bucks and tries to rub the halter off. Ben has his work cut out for him!
